Where we meet
The orchestra meets on Friday evenings from 7.00 to 9.30 pm at the University of Reading Bulmershe Court Campus,
Bulmershe Court, Woodland Avenue, Woodley. Musicians between the ages of 12 and 20 are welcome.
Doors open at 7pm and students are expected to be ready to play at 7.30pm. A register is kept. A short break for refreshments
takes place halfway through the rehearsal.
There is usuallyl a Summer Course every year and a concert each term in either Reading or Henley-on-Thames. A high
standard of music is achieved at concerts.
Membership and fees
If you wish to join, please contact our Conductor and Music Director, Paul Cox. Membership is £65 per term, due within
2 weeks of the start of term.
Please give payment to any FRYO members who are present at rehearsals or direct to Paul Cox
himself. Cheques should be made payable to Eureka Foundation.
New members are asked to complete an application form and health declaration.
