Tim Hawken began learning the Violin when he was seven, and was taught by Jean Pearson for five years and Steven McDade for two years. He now studies with Ron Colyer and also has piano lessons with Tom Dodd at the Central Berkshire music centre. Tim joined RYO since the age of fourteen, and also played in the Berkshire Youth Orchestra, Reading Symphony Orchestra and the Berkshire Music Trust Chamber Orchestra. He is now pursuing a career in music.
